Why Health Matters

Good Morning,

I believe we need a balance of taking care of our bodies
and taking care of our minds and our spiritual health. These ideas that I will give you are from what I have learned over the years from experience or others have shared to help me be and become the person that I am today

I have always had a desire to be a picture of health and help others also to do this. The most important things in life to me are health and being healthy. I believe a person needs a connection to their Source (God) for mental and also physically health. I believe we need special connections with other people to be healthy. I’m sure you have heard the saying “No man is an island”, then you know that honest feelings of belonging, connecting with others is important to our health and well-being.

I believe that the foods that we eat and the books that we read are also very important to our health. I believe that the foods that we eat should be the best and healthiest for us also.

In my opinion, they should be organically grown and as free of chemicals possible. If at all possible, they should be consumed in raw foods as mentioned in the Bible, as stated in the first book of it. I think that you will agree that raw foods are more nutritious than cooked or processed foods. I think that the more naturally grown the better for us and our loved ones.

Why is this so important? An example of, just this week in my life an old friend stopped by the house here on the farm, to share with me that his oldest daughter is dying of brain tumors,  earlier this winter an old friend of mine also was diagnosed with brain tumors, could this have been prevented by a change in diet? Is it possible?  Yes, I believe it is possible. Yes, I believe that if we educate ourselves on removing lots of chemicals, preservatives, and sugars of various kinds that we can help ourselves to be more healthy.

I believe that by watching labels and learning what those words that we can’t pronounce are, we will be on a lot healthier path for ourselves and our loved ones. Today’s fast and furious lifestyles are producing a sicker and heavier generation in the history of America, If you don’t believe me, please stop and look around you. Look at our children, mother’s of those children and father’s of those children. Watch what they are eating, watch when you fill your car with gas, watch what is consumed at ball games, movie theaters and competitions by the onlookers, Is that healthy?
