Keep healthy bones is very important to our health matters. Bones support our structure whether sitting, standing, running and every task we perform. Posture is very important and nutrition is what Keep us having healthy bones to support our bodies.

Vitamin D and Swine Flu

Vitamin D and swine flu, do they anything in common? What does Vitamin D and swine flu have to do with the health of my family? Do you live where sunshine is at a minimum on a daily basis for your family? How many times do we see commercials that deal with drugs for cholesterol that the industry thinks is too high? If its readings are 300 or higher, then maybe you should consider trying to lower it, but we need cholesterol for our bodies to perform and digest our foods properly.

Check to see what your HDL/cholesterol ratio is and also your Triglyceride/HDL ratios are to make sure you are at risk for heart disease. You can do this by dividing your HDL level by your cholesterol and if that percentage is above 24%, you probably are fine. If its below the 10% range that is an indicator of heart disease. Hope this gives you some ideas to protect yourself against drugs.

Do the same thing with triglycerides and your HDL ratios and then that needs to be in the 2% range.

Some health tips on Vitamin D for health include- have your Vitamin D levels where they are supposed to be. Having the proper amounts of Vitamin D in the body will reduce inflammation and that in turn, reduces heart risks and diabetes issues. Supplement if you are inside during the day with your work and have health challenges so you can not be out of doors for a period of 15 minutes at a time.
