Sleep and the immune system are most important for our health
matters, as when we don’t get enough rest, we challenge our

Stress and Sleep

Good afternoon,

Stress and sleep just don’t go together very well do they? If you have children going back to school and the summer routine has been drastically changed so bedtimes are changed and of course, time to get up when that alarm goes off, then this causes Stress on our bodies and of our loved ones.

Hopefully this is temporary sleeplessness and you will get back to a routine of Sleep and this helps that brain fog. At this time, drinking lots of water and eating really nutritional meals will help our bodies adapt to this change. Sleeplessness caused our bodies to perform poorly at home, at work, and it in our social settings. The Stress levels increase also.

What you wear to bed makes a difference also in our quality of Sleep. Using clean hypo-allergenic pajamas, sheets, pillowcases and mattress covers decrease our possibilities of breathing irritants also.

You may want or like a light in your bedroom but studies show that a dark sleeping room for the best sound sleep. Adults need from 7 to 9 hours of sleep and we shouldn’t shortchange ourselves to be our best. This can vary some, and you will know what the required amount is for you.

Sleep is when our brains process lots of thoughts so positive thoughts are so important when going to bed. Never go to bed after an argument, as the brain will not be rested by the next day. Sleep is the time when our bodies rejuvenate and heal themselves.

Mediating and reading a book is a great way to relax. Please do not have a TV in the bedroom. This is not a positive thing to do at all as there is so much negative news and programs that it causes our bodies not to relax and repair.
