Healthy foods for a Healthy body is so very important today with all the heart disease, cancers and don’t forget the colds and flu of several types in and on the news daily.

Keeping healthy foods like raw vegetables in the refrigerator makes them handy to prepare a meal around such as stir-frying them and adding some farm-raised organic eggs for a tasty omelet for the family. If you need to have meat with this omelet, be sure and use the grass-fed ones and use the cheeses that are grass-fed as well. The organic egg is a very nutritional for the family as it can actually raise your good cholesterol so use the whole egg.

Other healthy foods for a healthy body include the flax seeds, almonds, pecans and of course the walnut meats. Great sources of the many omega’s that we need for heart health also. You can add some nuts to your whole grain cereals and they also make a great healthy food for snacking.

Never buy the white pastas or the white rice, use the whole grain ones for additional proteins and lots more nutrition. Additional grains include the steel cut oats and oat bran instead of the quick oats with so little fiber and nutrients. Add some chopped raw tomatoes, raw garlic and raw onion with the grass-fed cheese to top it off for a filling and nutritious dish at your house tonight.

Since the fresh fruit season is almost over or totally over in your area, you will need to buy the frozen berries such as strawberries, blueberries, blackberries, raspberries, cherries, cranberries, Add these to your favorite smoothies for that immune boosting power that they contain of the vitamins and minerals to keep colds and flu away from the family. Be sure to have fresh oranges, bananas, fresh apples, mango, pineapple and other fresh fruits to snack on and put into those smoothies on a daily basis.

Processed, refined sugars will deplete our bodies of the important antibodies that we need to stop colds and flu this season so use a sweetener called Stevia and use raw honey occasionally if you desire a sweeter taste to your smoothies. These make good sweeteners for that cup of cocoa or cup of healthy coffee or healthy tea.

Boost immune system tips is on the minds of lots of people here and around the world, with companies and pharmaceutical industries trying to force vaccinations and drugs on us to stay healthy. I would like to give you some tips to boost immune system with some healthy practices.

1. Keep the humidity in your home and workplace at approximately 30% to 50% so you don’t allow the mucous membranes dry out in the nose. Keeping humidity at these levels will keep germs from entering the body.

2. Start your day with hot and cold showers. Start the shower with warm water, then switch to slightly warm , then to colder for a boost to immune system. If you prefer a bath, put some mint oil into the steamy water and inhale for the immune boost.

3. Reduce stress! Learn to mediate, find a yoga class and if that is not possible, try sipping some chamomile tea or valerian tea.

4. Eat raw foods and please don’t cook them and destroy the nutrients that boost the immune system.

5. How about an boost immune cocktail?
Scrub 3 carrots, 1 Orange-peeled, 1 Apple and about a half of a scrubbed beet. Put all into your juicer and drink it!

6. Chop fresh garlic and onions as a natural antibacterial agents for the boost of the immune system, on salads, soups and make a tea of chopped garlic.
