Stress and More Stress

Stress and more stress is a serious risk to our health matters. The busier we get the less time we take for our bodies and all this negativity on the news, in our work places and it seems every way we turn, someone is telling us how bad things are or are going to become.

We seriously need to turn off the televisions and the radios and not be bombarded with all of this stressful stuff. Yes, it can be done as I have done it and if you do it for 30 days, you will notice a tremendous quality of life return. Stress levels drop at an amazing level. If it’s so important, someone is going to tell you about it anyway. Try it and see for yourself.

Stress causes our colons to become toxic as we put off going to the bathroom and things build up fast this way. We possibly skip on the meals and then this causes digestive issues. When we do eat, we have a habit of doing the fast food way and there goes all of that much needed fiber that is in those fresh fruits and raw vegetables. Regularity in our eating habits creates regularity in our colon health.

Take a vacation or at least a mini-vacation to regenerate the body, mind and soul. Even if its just a weekend or a picnic with loved ones in a park. Maybe you like to fish or enjoy some sport, make time for yourself as stress and more stress will make Health matters worse. Music is a great way to relieve stress also in our lives, dancing, singing and working with our favorite music playing helps also. Headaches, back pain, blood pressure, arthritis and a numerous ailments are the cause of too much stress in our lives.

Are You Pulling your Hair Out

Good morning,

Are you pulling your hair out these days? are you about ready to scream or feel like screaming at someone today? Is everyone disagreeable and grumpy?

Could it a problem such as Stress? Stress is the body’s natural response to intense situations that require action on your part. Some stress is good stress, but yelling and screaming and being able to laugh at yourself will help. Bad stress weakens our bodies immune system, flares up problems in our intestines and this can cause severe complications, causes depression and makes us feel miserable.

Our colons are very responsive to stress and can easily be disrupted when hormones are activated by stress. Negative emotion of bad stress is a huge problem when it comes to our intestinal health. We have a tendency to over-eat and that adds to the process and then comes the unwatned weight. Bad stress at work will even cause us to put off going to the bathroom and then we wonder why we get constipated and then the next thing you know we have a toxic colon condition.

When we get so busy, we have that a tendency to put of meals and then when we do it, we get fast food, which in my opinion is junk food. Fried, greasy, over-cooked, lots of white breads meals and forget about the fact that we need those raw fruits and raw vegetables for those regular bowel movements.

We compound this further by forgetting to exercise and then comes that wired-up feeling and we can’t sleep. Inadequate amounts of exercise and lack of sleep are huge factors that mess with our stress levels.

Our lympathic system is an important aid in the elimination of waste materials by cycling waste our of and putting nutrients into our cells. Exercise is where the power comes from. Without proper exercise our lymphatic systems are unable to do therir job so our bodies retain those awful toxins and then depression moves in also. Depression diminishes our desire to exercise and so here we go again. STRESS. Constipation happens and then the bowel muscles become weaker. Lack of sleep dispurts the homromes that regulate our eating and making those awful foods choices while under stress so therefore the fule to our bodies is dimished and then the toxins run and remain in our systems to long.

This is one of the reasons a vacation is most important , they give our bodies and our minds time to regroup and regenerate our bodies. I believe this is one of the reasons for lots of health issues in our country. I believe that we choose not to go anywhere, we need to have quiet time, mediate, pray and just enjoy nature more. Just observe how the birds, our dogs, our cats, and our other pets, whatever they may be, just enjoy and quietly go about their business of just doing and being. Is there a lesson here for us all?

Can we stop pulling our hair out? Try a few of these suggestion. Go make that healthy cup of coffee or tea. Stop and enjoy it outdoors. Listen to the beautiful music provided. Take a walk during lunch break. Do and treat yourself to something healthy.

Healthy with Pets

Good afternoon,

Have you ever noticed that people are healthier with pets? Is this a scientific fact? Yes, it seems as if it is true, according to a study in the American Journal of Cardiology. It seems to think that men who’ve had heart attack were more likely to be alive up to 4 years later if they owned a dog. Maybe there is truth to it that a dog is man’s best friend.

I also read that they did another study on stockbrokers, you know the ones that get all fired up and get that high blood pressure, that maybe that ought to adopt a pet for themselves. It didn’t matter, it could be a cat or a dog. Then they re-checked them and found that as pet owners their blood pressures lowered significantly.

So what does this mean? I think that we all need to adopt a pet to love, care for and be a part of our lives. Have you noticed that nursing homes allow pets to come and visit now? Have you noticed the look on residents faces when someone shares a dog or cat with them and allows them to pet and talk to the animal? Does this mean we can be healthy with pets in our lives?

When we allow our hearts to open up and care for something else, it seems it is quite theraputic for all involved. The pets love it, we love it and is a healthy connection for all involved.

It also has been said that even if you give someone a plant to care for, it improves their attitudes and shows love. Some are allergic to animals to a plant is also an alternative for them to nuture.

Caring heals. Here are a few ideas that I’d love to share that , in my opinion come under that label. Volunteering at church, your community, making a donation to a charity, an example could be the Red Cross, Salvation Army or your local food bank. Doing something for someone or taking care of a pet or plant, opens your hear and your consciousness to something outside of ones self.

Share love and be love. You will notice a difference in your life and that of others. Involve your youth and your children in these activities and become healthy with pets.
