Why Clean Air, Is it Clean

Why clean air, is it clean in your home and or offices? Do you realize that the Dept. of Homeland Security recommends true HEPA filters for capturing and removing the dusts, pollens, ragweed, yes, it flies through the air and affects you also, dust mites-like it or not we all have them in our homes and offices, mold spores-yes, we would be very shocked to find this information out about our homes and offices, and lots of other allergens.

Another bit of information for you is that air purifiers do not destroy germs, viruses and other micr0-organisms.

It takes a germicidal UV lamp to do this task effectively for us and some of these air purifiers don’t have the activated carbon filter that filters out these germs floating in our rooms. Most air purifiers don’t reduce cigarette smoke and other household odors, such as odors from cooking, bathroom sprays and aerosols, of which are toxic to us as well.

Another feature is to make sure your air purification system has a carbon air filter for our best protection. This seems to best the best recommendation for clean air in our homes and offices. If you have a pet, this carbon air filter removes this dander and odor as well. I’m truly amazed at the air quality in my home with an air purification system with these main components. My allergies are held at a minimum and its so nice to take a breath of clean pure air.

Allergic to House Dust

Allergic to House dust can be a problem with those of us to have allergies and for me this time of the year when plants and trees are budding and starting to leaf-out.

So what is House dust? It is airborne allergens such as lint floating in the air from our clothing, carpets, foods and possibly from our pets if we own one. If we use a feather pillow we can experience dust particles from them as well. House dust contains microscopic  mites, commonly called dust mites. They make their home in our bedding, our furniture and the beautiful carpets on our floors. The dust mite thrive in all kinds of climates and like our environments to be slightly humid also. When you see those particles floating in the sunlight in your homes, of which you can’t control 100%, are what we see as dust mites and particles. These particles can irritate us and cause allergic reactions for us.

Vacuuming our carpets frequently will help control the dust and dust mites from causing us allergic reaction. Using a HEPA filtration system will definitely help control dust and dust mites in our homes as well as our office environments. House dust mites seem to trigger our immune systems at times so it seems to be hay fever also.

My advice is to get yourselves an air purification system to help remove all the dust and dust particles in our homes. I am amazed at how much cleaner my home is and how much better the air quality is with one of these units.
