I want my heart to  be healthy by eating the proper foods so as to avoid being a statistic like the music star and the commercial star that died so young. What foods are the best for my heart health? How can I improve my health matters today?

Our hearts are our life! Our heart health does the most important task that we need to be aware of. It is pumping blood throughout our bodies constantly and needs much better care than our car, boats, pets and our other favorite hobbies.

Love Your Body, Be Health

Love your body, he health. Valentine’s day and February being called National Heart Month are really good reasons for us to reconsider our eating habits, exercise habits and our personal love for others and for ourselves. It’s the perfect time for all of us to focus more on the joys of our heart and in our lives.

Do you realize that heart disease is one of the top leading causes of an early death? with coronary heart disease and it usual lead to having  heart attacks in both women and men. Did you also realize that by adopting a few simple changes in our diets we can lower heart disease by over 80%?

Since  Valentine’s day is on our minds and wanting to treat the ones we love to something special, lets consider showing love with a possible card, a home cooked meal, and for those of us that can will probably go out to dinner, maybe give some fresh flowers, maybe chocolates, maybe dark chocolate dipped strawberries,maybe teddy bears, or whatever way you feel good in your heart about. Feeling good about yourself will also show in  how you share love to your loved ones.

If chocolates are on your list, try and give dark chocolate as it is a really great source of antioxidants. If you want a glass of wine with your meal, this is good as it also can actually help raise the good cholesterol in our bodies. Be kind to your heart and health and include some fish, prepared in olive oils and or a very lean organic beef.

Share some laughter with your loved ones and that relieves stress and stress is also a Huge threat to our heart muscle. Listen to some music, your favorite kinds. Be love, share love and as you love your body, you will be a picture of health.

Take some quiet and enjoy a cup of healthy coffee or tea with someone special. Go for a walk and enjoy the great outdoors, as you know this is also heart healthy.
