Heart diseases are quite varied and can affect babies, children, young adults, middle-age and older seniors. Heart disease is something that is usually treatable early in life even in babies. Genetic heart disease is one that is passed on if there is a congenital defect in grandparents possibly according to some studies.
Heart disease is sometimes the result of poor diets, too many bad fats, too much sodium, sugar-laden snacks and commercially prepared foods as a constant diet. Commercially prepared foods tend to have lots of sodium and hidden sugars in them and some of us can’t tolerate this much sugar or salts. Too much sodium in the diet can cause excess liquids to remain in our bodies and affects the heart and also the kidneys and put too much pressure on the heart and high blood pressure can be one of the side effects that cause heart diseases. Some of the heart diseases are heart attacks, strokes, cardiovascular issues, abnormal heart beats, and of course death.
Health matters for all of us and especially the heart and a healthy heart is a full lifestyle without the complications of heart diseases.
