Oregano Oil-RX

Healthy foods for a healthy body is so very important today with all the heart disease, cancers and don’t forget the colds and flu of several types in and on the news daily.

Keeping healthy foods like raw vegetables in the refrigerator makes them handy to prepare a meal around such as stir-frying them and adding some farm-raised organic eggs for a tasty omelet for the family. If you need to have meat with this omelet, be sure and use the grass-fed ones and use the cheeses that are grass-fed as well. The organic egg is a very nutritional for the family as it can actually raise your good cholesterol so use the whole egg.

Other healthy foods for a healthy body include the flax seeds, almonds, pecans and of course the walnut meats. Great sources of the many omega’s that we need for heart health also. You can add some nuts to your whole grain cereals and they also make a great healthy food for snacking.

Leafy green lettuces and spinach topped with raw chopped garlic, onion, carrots and the nuts make a great salad for you also to serve with your dinners. Make your salad dressings with extra virgin olive oils and some organic apple apple cider vinegar and this will eliminate the highly refined soybeans oil that you find in store-bought dressings.

Never buy the white pastas or the white rice, use the whole grain ones for additional proteins and lots more nutrition. Additional grains include the steel cut oats and oat bran instead of the quick oats with so little fiber and nutrients. Add some chopped raw tomatoes, raw garlic and raw onion with the grass-fed cheese to top it off for a filling and nutritious dish at your house tonight.

Since the fresh fruit season is almost over or totally over in your area, you will need to buy the frozen berries such as strawberries, blueberries, blackberries, raspberries, cherries, cranberries, Add these to your favorite smoothies for that immune boosting power that they contain of the vitamins and minerals to keep colds and flu away from the family. Be sure to have fresh oranges, bananas, fresh apples, mango, pineapple and other fresh fruits to snack on and put into those smoothies on a daily basis.

Processed, refined sugars will deplete our bodies of the important antibodies that we need to stop colds and flu this season so use a sweetener called Stevia and use raw honey occasionally if you desire a sweeter taste to your smoothies. These make good sweeteners for that cup of cocoa or cup of healthy coffee or healthy tea.

Health Tips to Prevent Swine Flu

Thursday, November 5th, 2009

Health tips to prevent swine flu seems to be in the new daily on our televisions, newspapers, online and in conversations in person or in emails. What can I do to help prevent swine flu (H1N1)-another name for it also?

Lets look at some tips to keep you healthy and that of your loved ones on a daily basis. Lets consider some health tips to prevent swine flu without drugs of either the prescription kinds and office visit’s and the drug store ones of the Tamiflu also.

Health tips to prevent swine flu:

1. Wash hands after touching another person whether it be a handshake or a hug to prevent any bacteria of any kind.

2. Remember to keep your hands off the face, like rubbing the eyes, putting a finger in your mouth, unless you are eating something.

3. This is a must after being out in the public places of any kind, gargle with warm water in which you have dissolved a teaspoon of salt in it. Gargling helps remove the bacteria in which you have inhaled and become in contact with during the day or evening. An additional health tip is to flush the nose out with this salt water solution for additional protection of germs and bacteria. A cotton bud is great for this and a simple way to do it.

4. Another health tip to prevent swine flu is to keep your immune system healthy by increasing fresh raw fruits and fresh juices without added sugars of any kind. Supplement with good quality Vitamin C that has Zinc in it for an additional boost of protection to absorb it.

5. Drink lots of fresh water. Drink something warm everyday and even several times daily such as a healthy coffee, healthy tea and other sugar free drinks. Drinking a warm drink aids in preventing those nasty viruses from staying in the throat to attack our immune systems.

I hope that using these simple procedures will help your family enjoy this season and keep all colds and flu and especially swine flu from attacking your bodies. Take an active approach and not being scared into being sick is taking charge of your health matters. Believe that you have a body that is capable of healing and repairing itself with a diet of lots of fresh raw fruits and fresh raw vegetables. Cut out all sugar loaded foods and drinks and see the amazing results in your health matters.

Complete Cleansing System

Herbs for health matters has been around since Bible times and used by all nationalities in all nations. For example, the Ganoderma mushroom, sometimes called the ‘King of herbs’ is used in coffee, tea, hot chocolate now to add a healthy benefit to all of us my putting it into their product.

Herbs have a variety of uses such as medicinal, spiritual and of course the culinary uses on an every day basis.  We use the leaves, roots, seeds, the flowers, root barks, berries and every part of some of these herbs, depending on what we are cooking. Some of our culinary herbs are in the forms of shrubs, trees and small plants. Some of them we use the seeds and some of them  the weed, for example, the dill weed when cooking for flavor and that added spice we love.

Herbs are used for medicinal purposes like relieving depression and stress with kava and St. John’s wart. Always use with common sense as we can over-due anything that we eat or drink or even with herb usage.

Herbs are also used in cleansing our bodies and what better time to do a body cleanse then springtime. We all are getting in the mood for spring and the spring house cleaning, so let’s take care of our health matters as well. Supplements that contain cleansing herbs can be found at health foods stores and the herbs are combined for our health matters so we can cleanse properly.

Ganoderma Lucidum “Miraculous King of Herbs”

Wednesday, September 10th, 2008

Good afternoon,

Ganoderma Lucidum “Miraculous King of Herbs”, now isn’t that quite an honor and title of a healthy mushroom? This herb is believed by the Chinese people and they believe that it can have highly-regarded medicinal properties that improve our bodies healing ability and add to our endurance which help us stay in shape. And guess what? it adds to ones longevity.

It’s miraculous properties contribute to the strengthening of our immune systems which is so needed today because of our hectic lifestyles and lack of sleep to rejuvenate our bodies on a daily basis. Ganoderma lucidum is also believed to be visible in the ‘elixir of eternal youth’ that the ancient Taoists searched for.

The ganoderma lucidum is a fungus know by many names such as Reishi, Lingzhi, Mannentake and several other names but these are the most common. It is known as a medicinal fungi because of it’s association with health and healing properties, long life, knowledge and happiness.

In my research I found that this Ganoderma Lucidum in medicine is talked about in a 2,000 year old textbook of old Chinese medicine. It has a long history then of contributing much to curing cancers of all sorts and showing positive effects to the developments of our immune systems.

So this mushroom miracle is considered as an effective healing herb of us all and now can be obtained by drinking healthy coffee and tea on a daily basis. You know what, I really like that idea and am enjoying at least 2 cups daily and my energy is increased and my health has improved immensely since drinking it on a daily basis.
