Everything from shopping on a budget, tips to saving grocery money, Healthy tips to saving money on foods, getting more usage out of products that we use and what products we can reuse for added value to our dollars.

I would like to add my thoughts on her recipe and change it a bit: use unsalted nuts, no sugar-even though she reduced it amazingly, definitely the organic gold flax seeds and the stevia. Unsalted nuts are available in your local food outlets in bulk as well.

Earth day and green living are at the top of the list in news stories today and they need to be on our list daily for the betterment of our health matters of our family.

Every day we breathe toxic indoor air and retain these poisons in your body! Fortunately there are things that we can do to clean the air that we breathe at work and home. Removing pollutants from indoor air decreases your exposure to toxins and improves your health.

Determine if your drinking water is contaminated with unsafe levels of any of the contaminants. Where you live will determine the quality of your water also. How much chlorine they add or over-add daily if you live in the city or an example, like myself, on rural water system where it is also added, even though I live in the beautiful country. Some acceptable examples are as follows:
EPA Acceptable Safe Levels:
Bacteria None
Lead Below 15 ppb
Pesticides Below 3ppb (atrazine)
Below 4ppb (simazine)
Total Nitrate/Nitrite Below 1.0 ppm
Nitrite Below 10.0 ppm
Total Chlorine Below 4 ppm, pH 6.5 to 8.5
Total Hardness 50 ppm or less

Shall we consider the possible dangers of the cell phones that even our children are using today? yes, quite a few of them are using it for safety precautions when walking home from school and work, but some are using them constantly and this is a concern.
The danger from using mobile phones comes from the radiation that’s emitted as it transmits your voice by way of the antenna. The radio frequency radiation (RFR) that most phones transmit at ranges from 800 MHz to 1,990 MHz. This actually covers the mid-range of frequencies for microwaves, and it’s a health hazard. In the United States, each model of cell phone has recorded the amount of RFR the phone emits and how much it can penetrate your brain.

How close you are to the antenna of the cell phone and the structure of your head determines how much radiation you receive. It could be as much as 80% or as little as 20%. The radiation can actually penetrate into the brain as far as one and a half inches.

NOTE: Children younger than age 16 have fairly thin skulls which means that they radiation can penetrate deeper into their brains, doing significantly more damage.

Computers also are a health matter concern due to the radiation that it emits when we are constantly working on them and this adds to the health hazards in our homes, especially if we have persons with challenged immune systems using them so much.
