Is Detoxing Healthy

Good Evening,

I think detoxing is one of those really controversial subjects and also when it comes to detoxing our bodies. Should I detox, is it healthy, will I feel bad, how bad will I feel, is it worth going through it and whatever else questions you might think of also?

It differs when you talk with doctors, articles in the news or if you research others comments on detox or detoxing. There are as many ways to detox and there are ideas of doing it or not doing it. Personally I think it is a good idea as I believe that we need to re-think of how and what we are putting into our bodies. The huge amounts of sugars, white flours, excessive consumption of meats and cooked foods seems to be a bigger part of one’s diet. I really believe that we should consume lots more raw-foods, organic veggies and organic fruits and organic juices made from both.

Detox is, in my opinion, a time for you to consider what foods we are eating and drinking. All those sugar products of drink and foods, baked and fried foods and that huge amount of meats do take a lot more to digest and therefore build up in our intestines and liver.

Please do not starve yourself for long periods of time, you still need to consume nutritional products so that is why I suggest doing and eating the raw-foods way of eating to stay healthy. Starvation diets, in my opinion, will not solve the sludge issue of unhealthy eating habits. Yes, you will lose weight and most likely you will bad for a few days when detoxing your body. Staying properly nourished is most important, no matter whether in detoxing our bodies or eating nutritional meals on a daily basis.

Don’t overdue detoxing or overeat any junk foods, neither are healthy for our health matters.

Spring into action. Detox diet tips for your health matters. So let’s get going, summer is on the way and this is suggested by several experts in the health fields as a way to lose weight, feel better, look younger and we all want that youthful, be thin look, don’t we?

When lightly cooked so the veggies are at their brightest in color, you will benefit from most of the vitamins and minerals. At the same time, these are easier to digest than raw veggies, so eating them in the evening when the digestion slows down will be beneficial for most people.

Drinking fresh vegetable juice can help many people with health issues. It will give the body the nutrition it needs to heal itself. A good quality juicer will press most of the nutrients out of the vegetables and put them in the juice. Because you are drinking your nutrients, you will be able to absorb all of them even if your digestion is not in top shape.

Some of the best cleansing vegetables are these:

    * Spinach which will provide the antioxidants needed to protect against cancer-causing toxins that may be traveling through your body on their way out during a cleanse.

    * Carrots when eaten fresh and raw contain a phytonutrient that protects against colon cancer. this is extremely important since many toxins leave through the colon during a colon cleanse. In addition, the carrots contain cartenoids which may help regulate blood sugar – especially important while eating lighter during a cleanse.

    * Celery juice is known to be one of the best cleansing vegetable juices. It helps regulate and strengthen the heart while at the same time adding highly nutritious vitamin/mineral water to the diet.

    * Beet juice has gotten a bad rap because it contains a high amount of vegetable sugar. It is important to note that the body does not react to this the same way it reacts to table sugar. In fact, beet juice is one of the best strengtheners of the liver and kidneys which are the main cleansing organs! This juice is also known to be effective for strengthening and healing during the cleansing process even for those with candida – and does not aggravate the candida when used properly.
