Treatment Of Diabetes

Treatment of Diabetes is when we take an active part in our health matters and watch what we are eating at every meal, how much or how little exercise we are getting. By exercise, I don’t mean the busy things of our life, I recommend actually walking 3 times a week, some light weight lifting and some light aerobics to increase our heart rate and build the heart muscle to it can do its job of keeping our bodies healthy.

Watch what you eat! Cut all commercial sugars our of your foods such as corn syrups and any of the sugars ending in ‘ose’ that are on the labels of our drinks, snacks and prepared foods. Start eating lots of raw fruits and raw vegetables to control your blood sugars.

Watch your weight! Extra weight gained from lack of exercise, too much stress eating and a junk food eater is dangerous for us as it can lead to Diabetes, obesity and heart problems.

I personally thing that going on lots of raw foods is the best way to deal with all diseases including diabetes, high blood pressure and cancers.

One of the number things we need to be aware of is how to help metabolize sugar, promoting insulin in our bodies, reducing oxidation stress to reach our goals of not having to live with a prescribed drug.

Lets look at some foods that will help metabolize our sugars before that destroy our bodies and lead to bad cases of diabetes. Some great foods and of course, spices that will aid our struggle with diabetes. Two of te best spices are basil and cinnamon of good quality. The best two vegetables are broccoli and green beans. The best breads are only the whole wheat breads and of course, the sprouted breads and they usually are found in your grocery stores in the frozen food departments.

Diabetes eating tips need to include foods that helps how sugars react to proteins and not compromise them to do damage to heart and nerves and our eyes. When the heart is damaged you can have heart attacks and it affects the eyes and can cause blindness also. Some diabetes eating tips include the lean red meats, tuna, liver, chicken and turkey.Keep the serving size at a small serving for the best results with your meats.  Add some lentils and be sure and use chile peppers to season with, adding after the cooking is done so it doesn’t get to ‘hot’ to eat.

Diabetes Meals are a problem for me, so how and what can I cook for my family now that I have been diagnosed as having Diabetes? I want my children to enjoy eating what I eat so can you help me find some ideas on eating healthy to control my diabetes? Do you know that over 24 million people that have diabetes?

Let’s take a look at some wonderful, tasty choices we have in preparing meals that even my children can cook and love. Foods such as celery, sugar-free jello, nuts, and all foods that are low carbs. Fresh fruits, brown rice-a great control of blood sugar, herbs such as cilantro and green onion, fresh tomatoes, fresh red, yellow or white onions, so you see salads with extra-virgin olive oil and organic apple cider vinegar as a dressing.

Most of your favorite recipes can be converted to and for diabetes such as substituting the fat meats for leaner cuts, use more spices and herbs such as basil, parsley for flavors, fat-free cheese and use whole grain pasta, cut out the salt, roast the vegetables and of course increase the number of them in dishes, again adding lots of herbs and marinate with olive oils or flax seed oils. You can even make your own dressings with extra virgin oils, garlic, onions, parsley, basil, organic apple cider vinegar and chill before adding to vegetable salads.

Lasagna, spaghetti, and macaroni can be used that are of whole grains to keep the blood sugar in control and by using low fat products so enjoy for old recipe favorites but make the changes and the whole family will be healthier with this diabetes meal.
