What is a super food? A super food is a food with lots of
nutritional content and antioxidants included in them
that is good for the body to do its job of healing and
repairing itself. A super food will help the body all
kinds of disease. Super foods give us more energy also.

What are some super foods that are good for us? The
egg when eaten whole is a great source of protein
and healthy cholesterol for us. Eggs can improve
the eyesight.

Oats are great for heart health, diabetes, cholesterol
reduction and contain great fiber. Lentils are also
great fiber and don’t cause the insulin to rise. Add
oats to your homemade whole grain breads and
meat dishes as filler. Blueberries contain lots of
antioxidants and you can add them to your
whole grain pancakes, yogurts, and smoothies.
They can help cancers. Goji berries can also help
with our eye health. It is one of the best foods
used in Chinese medicine.

Almonds contain the great fat we need to help
the body heal supplying the necessary Vitamin E.
Almonds can be processed through the blender
and produce for us: the almond milk, almond
paste and almond butters that we can use for
spread on our whole grain breads and even
on apple slices. You can use almond butters
in place of peanut butter.

Wild salmon has the great omega 3′s that we
need for heart health, it has few pollutants,
helps with our brain health and is a great
source of protein. Fresh is great but if it isn’t
available , you can buy it canned.

Vitamins for health are necessary, if not from our raw foods
that we eat,will need to come from natural
supplementation. The best way is to eat raw fruits,
raw vegetables, organic seed and nuts, legumes,
whole grains on a daily basis.

We need at least 90 essential nutrients for optimal levels to
prevent disease in our bodies. We need at least 16 vitamins,

12 amino acids and 3 fatty acids in our diets and if we don’t,
we will experience over time degenerative diseases. Our
bodies we created to maximize our use of natural foods
and not those created by man, loaded with sugars of all
kinds, sodium’s, preservatives and chemicals. We as a
nation, want it all faster, but that is not how our bodies
feel ,and perform its functions to stay healthy.

Foods for better eyesight are your raw fruits and eating
plenty of them, will make a better eyesight. We also need
to include some good omega 3 foods such as fish,
flax seed oil, ground flax seed and decrease our use of
vegetable oils.

Eating lots of dark green leafy vegetables such as spinach and
kale are also a great addition to our diets. The more colorful
the vegetables the better for better eyesight.

Smoking is one of the worst things for the eye health and
being in smoke filled rooms. Not enough exercise also
affects our eyesight also.

Our bodies are amazing machines when it comes to
extracting the necessary nutrients from the foods we
eat. This is why it is so important to keep a healthy
diet of raw foods, organic seeds and nuts, extra lean
proteins and the legumes and drinking lots of
clean fresh water.

Eating junk foods that are full of saturated oils and trans fats
damage our eyesight as well as the total body. Cutting back
