Share Love on Mother’s Day

Did you know that Mother’s Day is celebrated with lot of enthusiasm in over 46 countries across the globe, from the giving of flowers, grandchildren and children picking flowers from their yards and gardens, to purchasing them and giving them to the most special person in their lives,, their Mothers? To understand this holiday and what it really means, you need to understand the person in your life called Mother.

Who is Your Mother? What has she done for you? Take time to celebrate the person that gave birth to you, changed your diapers, cleaned your room, cooks for you, drives you around, shops with you, attends church with you and loves you so much that she sacrifices things for herself just so you have the best that she has to offer. If your Mother is not living any longer , you might like to send a balloon up, give a gift in her name to a needy person, send notes to some other special person in your life. Just the sharing of love is such feeling of gratitude and remembering all the good that she has done for you is a tribute to your Mother today.

This is the day to stop, remember, and pray for that special person in our life. Take a few minutes at least today to call her, send a balloon, take her out for lunch,  a visit in person if possible, possibly some flowers or a special card made by you. Show her that you appreciate her very much.

I personally enjoy just a phone call or going to visit my children and grandchildren, of course love practical gifts as well. I hope you have a truly Happy Mother’s Day, full of memories or making new ones.
