Headache Remedies

Headache Remedies is something that we have in our health journals, on recipe cards and possibly some books for information on ‘how to’ treat a headache, whether for ourselves or our children. It seems that sometimes an unexpected headache comes upon us. It ruins our day, makes us feel miserable, less productive and when severe will cause us to become sick and is terrible pain.

Herbs have been used for thousands of years as headache remedies to treat headaches of all kinds, whether from stress, sinus infections, allergies, dehydration, from to much heat, from to much bright lights, from being too busy and getting over-loaded with things to accomplish such as deadlines.

Some of the herbs for headache remedies include fever few, ginkbo biloba, lemon balm, ganoderma mushroom, chamomile,cayenne, skull cap and Valerian. Some of these such as chamomile, cayenne, rosemary, mint and garlic can be used to make a cup of tea to sip. How about brewing a cup of chamomile and then adding it to your bathwater? Quite soothing and refreshing!
