Why Does Our Health Matter

Why does our health matter now, more importantly, at this time of year? Why are we so concerned or is the big pharma that is most concerned, so that they can sell more drugs for our dollars?

Why does our health matter and the foods that we eat on a daily basis? Why can’t we just eat any food, cooked or raw, fried or boiled, full of sodium, full of sugars of all kinds and not get sick? Did you ever check a label on a package of foods to see the contents and understand what they contain? What do those big words have to do with keeping our immune system healthy? Is any of the foods we raw, organic and freshly harvested, to provide us with the necessary vitamins and minerals that nourish our cells, nerves, give us energy, make our skin silky and healthy?

When we deep fat fry our potatoes, meats, vegetables we are losing great food value as heat destroys much of the ingredients to promote our health matters. We are ingesting lots of saturated fats that clog the arteries and cause us serious health issues.

This doctor discusses why we have let our health matters become such a crisis here in the United states. I would love for you to hear from someone that has great experience and does this because he cares about why does our health matter:

Andrew Weil, M.D. — WHY OUR HEALTH MATTERS

#1 New York Times bestselling author Dr. Andrew Weil discusses his forthcoming book WHY OUR HEALTH MATTERS (on sale 9/8/09). Dr. Weil shows us exactly how we have let health and medicine become a crisis in our society—and what we can all do to resolve it. WHY OUR HEALTH MATTERS is on sale 9/8/09.

We all need to learn to eat a healthy diet so we don’t have to resort to drugs and over the counter medicines that harm our bodies and that includes our digestive system and our liver as it cleanses the entire body.

Include lots of raw foods especially during this season as sugar loaded foods put an additional challenge on our immune systems to prevent colds and flu for each and every one of us.
