10 Superfoods for Health matters with the most nutrient rich foods for our overall Health, which are high in vitamins and minerals and have many disease fighting qualities such as antioxidants and will greatly improve our quality of life. Give us more energy, also can lower our blood pressures, improvement on our digestion. Hey that is why they are called the Superfoods.

Here’s my favorites, so let’s start with the berries, the number one that is best for its color is the blueberry. Why the color of purple? or at least I think of a blueberry so blue it’s purple. Purple fruits and veggies get their dark coloring from a powerful antioxidant pigment called anthocyanin.This anthocyanin is one of the best for all of us and its great benefits for our heart and to help us ward off cancers of all kinds.

Beans are another great health food, providing us with proteins and fibers for energy and stamina in our daily tasks.

Broccoli is no surprise with its green color and nutritional value of ounce for ounce is the number vegetable on the market. It has amazing qualities to fight cancers and so do its sisters of kale, red cabbage, green cabbage and cauliflower.

Green tea is awesome drink that is included in this list of superfoods. Healthy green tea with all of its antioxidants and ganoderma mushroom is a very relaxing drink, with hot or cold, your choice.

Nuts are an excellent source with the famous walnut leading the list for the best nut with its omega and fiber content.

Oranges are the number fruit with its immune boosting qualities of Vitamin C. We can include most fruits in our diet on a daily basis.

Pumpkin is an excellent source of Vitamin C and fiber also. Vitamin A is also in pumpkin. Pumpkin seeds also provide us with several nutrients. It is especially helpful in keeping our insulin levels healthy.

Salmon, the healthy meat is best the wilder the better, not the kinds raised on farms. Omega’s are rich in this meat for all of us.

Spinach, yes, why even Popeye bragged on this one. Raw spinach leaves in a salad are quite tasty, if you have never tried them. Raw are far better for us than the canned ones.

Tomatoes are a great source of lypocene and I was reading an article in a gardening magazine and now we have a purple one. Sounds like we all need to try that for its abilities to improve our immune systems and attach all of the free radicals that we are in contact with constantly.
